Blue Cross Blue Shield of Tennesse's first priority is their commitment to a healthier life for the individuals, families, and communities they serve. The goal is to create, update, and transfer their current component library to Figma.
Mission
As a UX designer, I helped lead the creation and ongoing improvement of a Figma-based component library to standardize UI elements across digital assets. The new component library improved design consistency, efficiency, and team collaboration, delivering high-quality user experiences while supporting BCBST’s evolving product needs.
My key contributions included:
Creating reusable, flexible UI components to ensure consistency across BCBST’s web and mobile platforms.
Aligned components with brand guidelines and accessibility standards.
Regularly updated components based on product needs and feedback.
Designed components to be responsive, accessible, and scalable across platforms.
Ensured the component library could grow with BCBST’s expanding product suite.
